Managing Director
Thomas is the driving force behind our operations, with 27 years of experience in timber framing and construction. As Managing Director, he oversees all aspects of project management, ensuring that each venture is completed on time and within budget. Thomas is highly skilled in joinery, construction, strategic planning, and business management, continually pushing for excellence in every project delivered nationwide. His passion and leadership are key to the company’s success.
Outside of work, Thomas enjoys cars, boxing, and spending quality time with his family.
Gordon Kerr
Technical Director
With over 35 years of experience in both architectural and timber frame design, from self builds to large scale projects across Scotland. His extensive knowledge of construction and an eye for detail ensures the projects designs are off a high quality for both manufacture and site teams.
Outside work, Gordon is a keen DIYer, enjoys walking, cars and watching football.
Stephen Mitchell
Commercial Director
With 38 years of experience in the timber frame industry, including 28 years specialising in timber frame sales, Stephen Mitchell brings a wealth of expertise to the company. His hands-on experience includes building his own timber frame house, giving him a deep understanding of both the product and the process. Stephen enjoys face-to-face interactions and has extensive experience in estimating, ensuring clients receive accurate and reliable information.
Outside of work, he enjoys walking, football, golf, and cricket, and values quality time spent with family and friends.
Paul J McKinnon
Construction Director
With over 20 years of experience in timber framing, Paul leads our construction projects from inception to completion. His extensive knowledge and expertise in the field ensure that every project is delivered with precision, safety, and adherence to building codes. Paul is dedicated to meticulous planning, programming, and logistics, ensuring that every detail is handled with care.
Outside of work, Paul enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, fishing, and running.
Nichola Simpson
Finance Director
With 24 years of experience in retail and accounts, Nichola oversees the financial planning and management of our office. Her expertise ensures smooth financial operations and effective budgeting, helping the company maintain a strong financial foundation. Nichola’s leadership in managing day-to-day finances is crucial to our ongoing success.
Outside of work, she enjoys family days, staying fit, and gardening.
Robert Beagley
Director Of Sales
Robert has worked in the construction industry for over 40 years, covering all aspects including manufacturing, merchanting, specification selling, and main contracting.
The majority of Robert’s career was spent at Wolseley, where he served as Regional Director overseeing Plumb and Parts Center operations across Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Having built several of his own homes, Robert is well-versed in the challenges of self-building. He takes great pride in guiding clients through this often complex process, helping them achieve their dream home.
Outside of work, Robert is an Honorary President of Larbert Round Table No. 979, a Freeman of the City of London, a Member of the Worshipful Company of Plumbers, and an avid supporter of Scottish football.
Robert looks forward to helping clients turn their dream of building their own home into reality.
Ryan P McPhillips
Maintenance Superviser
Ryan brings two decades of experience in managing the timeous deliver of home improvement projects and reactive maintenance to local authorities, ensuring projects are completed on time and to the highest standards. He also oversees all operations on-site and provides hands-on leadership to his teams, driving successful outcomes on every project. Known for his strong leadership and attention to detail, Ryan is dedicated to operational excellence.
In his free time, Ryan enjoys DIY projects, spending time with his family, golfing, and watching football.
Robbie Chesney
Timber Frame Supervisor
With 20 years of experience in construction, Robbie is a seasoned professional who supervises onsite timber frame erect teams. As a specialist in UPVC windows and doors, Robbie is responsible for the surveying, delivery, and successful completion of all window projects. His expertise ensures that every task is handled efficiently and to the highest standard.
Outside of work, Robbie enjoys spending time playing golf and watching football.
